You can relax now that you joined the Go-Home Club! Ol' Kotaro Tomoe will keep you safe!
— Kotaro Tomoe

Kotaro Tomoe is a third-year student at Kishimai High School and a member of the Go-Home Club.

Appearance[]

Kotaro is a tall boy with slicked-back black hair and grey eyes. He wears the regular school uniform, but he leaves his blazer open and wears a floral-print black shirt underneath the blazer. He also wears a pair of white sunglasses on top of his head.

His Catharsis Effect takes the shape of large cylindrically-sectioned gauntlets, floating just above his arms. At the tops of these gauntlets, and the sides of the bottom-most parts, there is a reflective flower symbol. His arms are blackened all the way up to his shoulders, where his outfit is also affected. Attached to his arms is some sort of black segmented armor, possibly related to his wish or reason for coming to Mobius.

Personality[]

Kotaro is a headstrong boy who can sometimes be very stubborn. He is considered the heart of the group, as he is sometimes the only person who can keep the group together (such as after Eiji and Ayana's fight in the Sun Temple in Overdose). While he may talk like a delinquent or like he's looking for trouble, Kotaro cares a lot about his fellow club members and shows concern for their wellbeing.

Kotaro also has a strong sense of right and wrong, and could be considered to have a hero complex. His fascination with justice and saving people is related to his wish and reason for coming to Mobius.

Kotaro's father was once a rescue worker, and Kotaro, idolizing him, wanted to become one himself. However, he had self-esteem issues stemming from a small and weak body. Later on, both his parents died, leaving Kotaro to live with an abusive uncle and a cousin who bullied him constantly. One day, he heard one of μ's songs and felt like he was being cheered on, a feeling that soon led him to Mobius, where he could have the large and tough body he never had in reality.

Catharsis Effect[]

Kotaro is literally your "punch now, think later" kind of party member where his attacks are pretty straightforward. With massive HP and Attack, he's sure to stick around for every fight as well as being able to be a combo starter for everyone to take advantage of. The biggest downsides to Kotaro is that he has the worst Accuracy in the Go-Home Club and his skills use up a lot of SP, no matter the phase. He can be a very risky character to have in the party, but the reward will pay off big time if the Imaginary Chain actually executes what you're planning if he doesn't miss. Here are his Catharsis Effect Skills and Support Skills.

Gentian:[]

Gentian is used as a medicine. Because of this the word "victory" was given to this flower, as in "Victory over an illness." It can also symbolize justice.

Heliconia:[]

Because of an unusual shape and colors of this flower, it is associated with "being unusual or strange" and being focused.
